Infant Childcare Assistant – Reston Montessori School

We are seeking an innovative and qualified assistant childcare teacher to join the team at Reston’s oldest Montessori school in our INFANT (ages 3 mos. to 18 mos.) room.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience working with infants in a child care or school environment
  • Warm, positive and loving attitude towards children
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to take direction well from Management and Lead Teachers

  • Can work 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Infant Lead Teacher

Montessori Lead Teacher – Elementary

Seeking an experienced, Montessori certified Elementary Teacher who is fully committed to and passionate about the Montessori philosophy. Physical Education Teacher

Reston Montessori School, is seeking a part time Physical Education Teacher to serve Toddler thru Elementary age students.

Job Skills and Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to select and plan appropriate physical education programs for each age level.
  • Must have a high level of energy and an interest in working with young children.
  • Practical knowledge and ability to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in students, appropriate for individual age levels.
  • Practical knowledge and ability to play various team sports and games.
  • Must know the rules for all games and must teach students according to their ability and interest.
  • Strong observational skills to assess strengths and weaknesses of individual children.

Qualified candidate will have at least 2 years prior experience as a Physical Education Teacher.
An Associate degree or higher, with a major or minor in Physical Education, is preferred.
