Infant Assistant
We are searching for an experienced infant / toddler teacher to join our team of professionals for the 2008-2009 school year beginning August 25 with a full week of staff development. Our ‘Nido’ classroom consists of 18 children ages 3-18 months and 5 teaching assistants. Hours are 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We value the continuity of care for our children and are looking for teachers who are willing to make a long-term commitment to the program. We will consider sending the right candidate for Montessori certification after one year of employment.
Toddler Child Care Teachers
We are seeking experienced toddler teachers for a brand new toddler class opening September 2008. The position begins on August 25 with a full week of staff development. Candidates should have an understanding of developmentally appropriate practice, curriculum planning, and the ability to think creatively. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Preschool Child Care Assistant
We are looking for an assistant to work with the child care teacher in an established 3-6 year old class. The position begins on August 25 with a full week of staff development. Experience preferred but not required. This is a good entry level position into the field of early childhood education.
Requirements for all positions: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field, with 9 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education related coursework, OR an Associates Degree with 15 college credit hours in ECE related coursework, OR a CDA.
